ABOUT

The Charter Champion Awards were created to learn more about the great work being done within our local food system, and celebrate contributions towards local agriculture and food security.  In doing so, the Food Partners Alliance of Simcoe County aims to encourage the purchase of more local food, raise awareness of challenges and opportunities in our local food and agriculture sectors, and assist building greater awareness of the many food and agriculture related products, services, and programs available within our community.

While there are only 14 awards available each year, the Food Partners Alliance wishes to recognize all Charter Champion nominees from past, present, and future years as true champions of Simcoe County Food and Agriculture Charter principles.

THE 2017 CHARTER CHAMPION AWARDS ARE NOW CLOSED

Thank-you Simcoe County for helping us celebrate local food and agriculture with over 50 nominations for this year's fifth annual Charter Champion Awards.
